University Place Hotel & Conference Center
This nicely updated property is a former Red Lion Hotel
and now belongs to Portland State university. Your 2009 World Handball
room rate is $99 per night double occupancy, with 12% tax, and extra folks
are $15. There's no booking code for this one: the way to reserve is to

the hotel directly. University Place is right on the new TriMet
light rail Green Line, and just a hop to the city trolley. Plus, 2009
wants to hook our shuttle buses to the MAC and Sunset. You'll like it

Park Lane Suites
The closest property to the MAC. Single/double occupancy with
kitchens, queen $99, deluxe queen $119. Please note: no early checkout! This is
a hotel for players planning to stay through the whole tournament. A number of
players are in here already.
