Entries are closed but the action is just beginning! USHA is undertaking the massive job of assembling the draw for 900 players in four tournaments over eight days on 21 courts! (Holy cats, those are incredible numbers!) Look for the draws by the end of September.

Banquet tickets will be $48 ($18 for children 12 and under ... there's been a few typos on that one) and sold until Wednesday night at the Registration Desk at Multnomah Athletic Club.

General Information
Rules: USHA rules governing play will apply.
Balls: Official ball for four-wall is Red Ace except for juniors under-11 and under-13, girls and women's events, which will use White Ace. Official balls for one-wall will be USHA Ace and USHA Big Blue.
Eligibility: Players should be prepared to present proof of age. Masters must meet age requirement in 2009. Juniors must meet age requirement by end of event, Oct. 11.
Matches: Best of three, with two games to 21 and 11-point tiebreaker.
Consolation: Everyone will be able to play more than one match.
Prizes: Will be awarded for first and second.

Men’s team: 2 singles, 1 doubles

World Team 1-Wall (Fed Cup) Eligibility Rules
- Teams must be entered in the World Handball Championships One Wall Team event by their national handball organizations.
- If there is a national handball organization, but that organization is not electing to send a team to the World Handball Championships, an alternate handball organization may represent a country if that organization is presided over by a citizen of that country.
- For teams from countries where no national handball organization exists, the organization or players representing that country must be authorized in writing by an official of the government of that country.
- All players competing for a country or territory must be one of the
following:
- a citizen of that country
- a citizen of the "parent" country of the territory whose heritageA is from that territory.
- a person born in that country or territory
- a current resident of that country or territory for 2 or more years
- Teams should wear their National Colors in all matches.
- Teams should indemnify themselves with adequate insurance. The World Handball Council and/or the Portland Organizing Committee and/or the USHA accept no responsibility for injuries to players.
- Countries entering the World Handball Championships will be encouraged to join the World Handball Council.
A – Heritage in this context is defined as family ancestry lineage of at least one parent, grandparent, or great grandparent.
